- Route data: route name, geometry, stops, POIs, descriptions, elevation and terrain metadata, images, comments, and ratings.
- Activity and navigation data: tracked paths, timing, distance, elevation, and route progress.
- Health/fitness sync data (optional): when you enable Apple Health or Health Connect sync, we process workout session details generated in WalkRideGo, including activity type, duration, distance, elevation, start/end time, and route coordinates/metadata needed to create synced workout records.
- Location data: current position for routing/navigation and, if enabled, live event location sharing.
- Organization data: memberships, roles, invites, events, attendance, and audit logs.

- Operate subscriptions, entitlement checks, purchase verification, and renewal/cancellation updates.
- Enable organization collaboration, events, attendance workflows, and route sharing.
- Enable optional live event presence/location sharing for participants during event navigation.
- If enabled by you, sync completed tracked routes to Apple Health / Health Connect as workout records.

3. When data is visible to others
- Private routes are visible only to you and people you explicitly share them with through supported features.
- Public routes and related public content may be visible to other users.
- Organization members can view organization routes/events based on membership and permissions.
- During event navigation, live location is shared only when you explicitly enable the share-location control.
- Comments and ratings are visible on the relevant route.
4. Service providers and integrations
We do not sell personal data. We use third-party providers to operate the service, including mapping/routing
providers (for map tiles, geocoding, and directions), payment/subscription platforms (e.g., Stripe, Apple, Google Play),
media storage/CDN providers for uploaded route assets, push notification infrastructure, and device health platforms
(Apple Health / Health Connect) only when you enable health sync.
5. Data retention
We retain account, subscription, route, organization, and operational records while your account is active and
as needed for service operations, fraud prevention, legal compliance, and dispute handling. When you delete your account,
we delete or de-identify personal data associated with your account, except where retention is required by law, security,
fraud prevention, payment/subscription reconciliation, or dispute handling.
6. Your choices and controls
- You can control location permission in device settings.
- You can choose whether routes are private or published where supported, and you can change route visibility at any time.
- You can manage route sharing access through supported app controls.
- You can disable live location sharing in event navigation at any time.
- You can enable/disable health sync in app settings and revoke Apple Health / Health Connect permissions in device settings at any time.
- You can update profile/account details and use the in-app Delete Account button to permanently delete your account.
- You are responsible for keeping your account secure, including using a strong password and protecting your login credentials.
7. Offline use and local storage
The mobile app may cache routes, plans, and related data for offline use. Cached data is stored on your device
and may sync when connectivity is restored.
8. Security
Protecting your data is important to us. We use layered technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect
account, route, and payment-related data. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password and keep your account credentials private.
